cmyk refers to a method of rendering images. screen (computer internet stuff) uses rgb because it is mixing light which starts at black and gets lighter. print (books!) uses cmyk because it is mixing ink which starts white and gets darker. when constructing images in photoshop, you can specify which process by which you want your image to be rendered (based on its eventual destination whether it be printed or put on shambot). i had been printing stuff all day, so the image i made for the internet was accidentally cmyk and the internet usually hates that.

Or is it all done in light shades of green?
