First and foremost, the cats:

These are my kitties – left is Churra, a snooty old bitch who demands attention, but only when she wants it, she drools when she purrs, and is balding; right is Vinny, a scrappy little boy who terrorizes the neighborhood (and I mean literally, he stalks the neighbors’ indoor cat- from outside- notice the holes in his ears from fights). Daw… mah babbiees

Anyway, I have been “forced” to spend many an hour resting this past week. When you spend so much time resting that you begin to suffer from atrophy, you know you’ve had plenty of time to think about things. (seriously on the atrophy thing, I’m having trouble walking, I have reached a new personal high of laziness, and lost weight in the process – anyway, back the my point…)

Here’s what my challenged mind has been debating: purchase a Wii, or get a new tattoo. I know. Real exciting deliberations. The pro/cons:

Wii – would be awesome, and officially my first gaming system EVER (yeah, hard to believe, I know) But it would mean I need a new TV, since my 13″ just isn’t really gonna cut it. Then, having the TV and the Wii, I would be regaled to countless hours of fun, but the occasional investment of new games. Not bad over-all. Option A is looking good.

Tattoo – I know how much you all love seeing photos of my tattoos (again, I’m SORRY, I didn’t see it!) but, I am quite fond of them. The idea here is that October is my 21st bday, and I graduate in December, and I think I need to commemorate those occasions. I’m thinking something medium sized and artsy on my left back/shoulder, but not really sure what. The down side is it will be expensive, likely more than the TV/Wii combination. Also a consideration is time – I would like to do it sometime in November likely, while I could put off the Wii purchase until I had some money in the spring…
At this point, I haven’t really decided. What do you think? More thought on the flight home (I’ll be back in town Tuesday evening, don’t all jump up and down at once.)
