The artist 7573 days after birth.As per my “request,” I guess I’ll do a little intro for myself, too. But I’ll copy Emma’s layout.

My name is Joel Gillman. I was born in the 85th year of our late 20th century. In addition of Emma and Evan, I too attend MCAD.

I am an Interactive major, but I’m not really sure what I’m doing still. It’s a terrible feeling sometimes. In general, I do what I like. For example, making this blog and maintaining it. I like that! It’s fun!

As of late, I’ve been very interested in pixels and pixel art. I think the interest comes from an obsession with order and perfection, something that can never be achived. My last installation was focused on making a high resolution image pixelated without a computer. After that I’ve been playing with image corruption and pixel patterns. That last link is a tribute to my favorite pattern creator, William Morris.

In short, I am very excited to have this new blog going. My old one will now be art only, but here I do what I wa-unt!
