So everyone LEFT MINNEAPOLIS already. Evan left yesterday, Katie left today, Emma left today, Bill left today, Lela left today, Sarah is still here but is leaving tomorrow. Joel, Lindsey, and I are now sitting around, hanging out, watching the kitty, eating pasta, the yoozh. Funny thing is, Bill and Joel and I were in Iowa for the past 24 hours. We drove down yesterday at 5pm, caught a 10:20 showing of Casino Royale (incredibly sweet-ass movie), went to bed around 2am, woke up at 8:30am and drove Bill to the airport for his 10:00 flight. After we saw Bill off (sadness BOH!), Joel and I drove back up here to the ‘apples (Bill called at 11:30 and he had already arrived in Detroit. FAST.). 20 minutes out of the city we saw a Super Target and decided to stop in and see if they had any Wiimotes. SHOCKINGLY they had FOUR and we snatched up two of them and ran away squealing with GLEE!! The Dooples now has three Wiimotes (four including Evan’s, but he’s getting his own Wii anyway). Although our time in Iowa was shortlived, I’ll be back in Iowa on Thursday and I’ll be there until the 4th at LEAST!
