Take Your Pick Strikes Back

take your pick

now, i can’t tell if sausage lodge is a delicious breakfast joint or a naughty men’s retreat. you decide.

(onto the real musings..)

greetings from my own futon.

even though x-mas is long since over, I’m still listening to Marah’s cover of “Baby It’s Cold Outside”, because it’s pretty charming – and could really be applied to any sort of cold weather experience, not just christmastime!! Genius!!

Yesterday (because Evan’s car keys are currently in Chicago for reasons too difficult to explain) I partook in the Minneapolis Public Transportation system for the third time in my life! Exciting. Joel and Lyndsey and Evan and I went Uptown and we pooted around for awhile. I’m on the look out for a new wallet – my old one from xoxo is dying. I actually bought it at TJ Maxx and it’s been the best wallet a girl could ask for! It’s checkbook style, all long and fat and it holds all my junk quite easily and has remained looking class up until maybe the middle of 2006, and now it is a regular Raggedy Ann! I’m looking for something like this, but not for a bazillion dollars. The search continues. I was also looking for something drink related that Evan could get for me for my b-day, since he said he wanted to get something of that manner. I found a shaker that had recipes for drinks printed all around it, plus the actual levels that each ingredient should be added to, which was awesome! We’re going to go to Target first, though, to see if they have anything cheaper. Once Evan gets his keys back, that is…

The Great Room ReArrange of 2k7 has started! Our entire living/dining room area is getting a huge makeover, the TV and our desks are all getting a big switcheroo. I took a bunch of pictures of the process, I’ll post them when it’s all over – we’re waiting for the keys (again) so that we can get a wireless card/long ethernet cable for Evan’s mammoth of a desktop.

In other news, le children’s theatre has wisely decided to put on High School Musical and it is already making mucho bucks – I’ve never seen our smaller stage so crowded before! Hopefully it will bring in a lot of dinero and more patrons to give us money and allow us to hire an extra usher on for the mainstage shows. I myself am not working there as often right now, since I stupidly didn’t turn in my availability form until le boss had to actually e-mail and ask me for it.
Recently I have been drawing food. More specifically, tea party food. Tiny tea party food. Maybe I will post.

I almost bought that shaker for myself! (I assume you found it in the kitchen store in Calhoun Square?) If you find a better deal at Target lemme know.

also, at every reference to car keys (there are 3, btw) I pull myself deeper into the dog house. (chance=bad friend)

    I’M SORRY, EVAN!!!! WAAAAAA!!!!!
