Okay guys. I am usually not one to brag (kind of). I am also usually not one to party all night (kind of). However, I am going to break the first one because last night I broke the second one in the CLASSIEST WAY EVER.

Sam (from such CTC productions as Aladdin Jr, Prom, and Pippi Longstocking) was celebrating his birthday at a bar downtown with friends, so Alli and I met them there to have some minimal fun before going home. However, just as we were wrapping up our stay there (let me reccomend the sangrias) , another CTCer got a call from a friend who was across the street at this swanky hotel called Chambers Minneapolis that I guess just opened up. So we said “why not?”

…. let me tell you right now, if you ever are thinking about going to this place, I can make your descision for you: GO. NOW. But dress up, because it is the coolest, hippest place I think I have ever been. Everything is v. Design Within Reach, which is like saying Ikea but you pay $500 for that cute little end table instead of $50. It is also an art gallery! This place is like sleeping over at the Walker! Dream come trueeee. Anywho, the lounge we stayed at was rather boppin’, but I am still a little crushed that we didn’t get a chance to go to… (wait for it)…

…the ice bar. Or ice chamber, as they call it. Basically it is A BAR MADE OF ICE. How hot is that? Obviously it has to stay outside, but there was a posh looking fireplace nearby. Guys, seriously, can we all dress up snazzy like and go back there and just walk around, GAWKING?! Let’s do it. You won’t regret it. Seriously. Ice bar.

Obviously, we stayed out a little later than planned because the night was such a success – for a few reasons that I won’t go into because I like to stay mysterious. Here is your hint: service elevator.
