it’s a good thing.

050820_marthastewart_hsmallwidec.jpgI’m pretty sure everyone knows this already, but a good fifty percent of Shamboteers are openly Pro-Martha Stewart. I don’t see why this should ever be a bad thing – she is FABULOUS. She pretty much owns everything and flaunts it, looks great, and makes really good food that I want to make all the time. Thanks to her Alli and I have made a tasty white bean salad and the best champagne punch I have ever tasted. I would have linked to them on her site, but it’s down, how sad. Plus her dog’s name is Pau-Pau.
Also, if you are interested, I have a webcomic. I decided to host it on WordPress, because I love it so much! Oddly enough, there is a doinstuff.blogspot.com, but that’s not my comic. CURIOUS. UTTERLY CURIOUS AND ODD. I’m also excited for the show on Friday. Sorry this post is terribly boring, I’m basically just waiting for the day I get an SD card reader. There’s a lot of pictures to post. And vijos.

Man… seeing all your guys comics makes me incredibly sad that “The Sequence,” Grinnell Bi-monthly comic publication sucks so MUCH! Every two months not every two weeks, I never know what bi-monthly means. It makes me even sadder that you get paid 60 dollars per page!

I love that I open up Shambot in public and feel a little guilty pleasure at the blaring smile of Martha that has me so…. enticed. to cook(eat) delicious things.

I’m going to go ahead and guess that the huge fluffy guy is Pau-Pau. But since there are 2 dogs there, and only one name–and a hyphenated one, at that–I am forced to come to the conclusion that Martha lives with two bundles of canine goodness, and they are named Pau and Pau.
I smell a sitcom! Or a talk show. Oh, right.

p.s. Pau #2 looks very protective of his mommy. I feel like he needs a thought bubble that says, “Mine.” Pau #1 seems strangely indifferent. Maybe it’s the excess fluff.
